ABCs in Nature

One of my favorite things about fall is that we get an abundance of a beautiful nature treasures: Fresh Leaves!

To build early literary skills, exposure to the alphabet is a fantastic tool. Combining the alphabet and leaves is just pure autumn whimsy!

Activity: Leaf Alphabet

Supplies: Chalk and Leaves

Prep: If your little one is ready, have them go straight to the creating, but if they need some assistance, then grownups draw out the ABC’s in chalk first.
