Car Garden

Make a Car Garden for your nature and car loving kid!

We build a unique outdoor play space for our son, built out of both natural and recycled materials.

We asked a local tire shop if they had any used tires they would be willing to donate. They were more than happy to give us two!

*Make sure the tires are free of nails or other harmful items. I made sure to tell the employee what my plans were for the tire. They were very kind and inspected the tires for me to make sure they would be safe for play.

We bought some unfinished wood boards and hand painted them to look like roads.

In one tire, we added soil and a sunflower. In the other, we added pea gravel and construction trucks.

We created more wooden roads by using this road tape.

Our son loves his new “Car Garden!”
